  1. Hi! My name is Christine and I’ll be studying Pharmacy at Robert Gordon (starting this september). I quite enjoy watching anime so just wondering if it’s ok for me to pop in sometime at the start of term? And would just like to ask how many are in this society? Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you!

    1. Oh sorry for the late reply, we’re a relatively small group at the moment (Around 12 regular members), since we’ve only been formed for one year. You’re welcome to come along (encouraged infact), Freshers’ Fayre is this Thursday, which we’ll be attending, if you want to come along for a chat.

Details of when we’re meeting up for the first time this semester will be published on the blog with about a weeks notice.

  2. Dam it! I wish I knew about this at the beginning of the year! D:< Your coming back at the start of the next academic year?

    1. Hi, can’t say anything for sure about next year yet. There’s the whole big move down to Garthdee and a new committee to elect before next year. There’s a good chance we’ll still be around next year though. We’ll publish info either-way, on this blog.

    1. Yeah, we’re still a thing! I got a bit/completely lazy with the blog this year though since I was also in charge of basically everything else and the email sorta covers a lot of the role the blog did although that obviously only goes out to the mailing list. I post something summarising the year e v e n t u a l l y . . .

We’ve got about one more meeting scheduled for the year (we’re well past exam period now, people are leaving the city) but we’ve got a new committee elected, so we’ll be running next year.

  3. Hey, I just started at rgu this semester, thought I might as well try to meet people rather than stay at home gaming. Is it just a case of show up with cash?

    1. Just turn up and see whether you like it! Our membership fee is £5 and that gets you a membership card that gives you 10% discount of Forbidden Planet Aberdeen purchases. However you can just come along and hang out we’re not fussed – you’re always welcome~

      1. Cool, not sure if something is up with the website but I didn’t see your reply show up until today, been checking every day or two. Might show up tomorrow, depends on what happens.
